Job Description The Distribution Manager at PNB MetLife Park Street Branch will be responsible for driving branch business growth through effective channel management, partner relationship building, and team leadership. The role involves managing distribution channels (Bancassurance, Agency, Partner associates), meeting sales targets, and ensuring high-quality customer service and compliance. Key Responsibilities Business Development & Sales Target Achievement Drive sales targets for the Park Street branch through assigned channels. Build and manage a strong pipeline of potential customers. Monitor daily/weekly/monthly performance and achieve branch revenue goals. Identify new business opportunities and contribute to branch growth. 2. Channel & Partner Management Manage and strengthen relationships with bank partners, distributors, and field associates. Support partner staff with product training, joint client calls, and sales activities. Ensure regular engagement with partner branches to increase activation and productivity. 3. Team Leadership & Performance ManagementLead and mentor the distribution/sales team to maximize productivity. Provide ongoing training, skill development, and performance feedback. Conduct daily huddles, sales reviews, and field coaching sessions. 4. Customer Relationship ManagementEnsure superior customer experience across the branch. Address customer queries, service issues, and escalations promptly. Ensure 100% adherence to TAT for policy issuance, servicing, and renewals. 5. Operational Excellence & ComplianceEnsure the branch follows all regulatory and compliance guidelines (IRDAI, company policies). Maintain accurate documentation, sales reports, and MIS. Conduct quality checks and audits as required by PNB MetLife standards. 6. Training & DevelopmentProvide training on product knowledge, sales processes, compliance, and customer-handling skills. Support partner staff and associates in improving their insurance sales capability. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree. 0–3 years of experience in insurance sales/distribution (life insurance preferred). Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Strong analytical and leadership abilities. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems.
