Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced PMO – Platform Transformation professional to support and drive governance, financial controlling, reporting, and project coordination across large-scale technology and business transformation initiatives.
The role will involve close collaboration with project teams, senior stakeholders, and delivery teams to monitor project progress, manage budgets, track financial performance, and ensure adherence to governance standards. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, advanced Excel expertise, and experience working in an Agile delivery environment within banking or financial services.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor a portfolio of Change the Bank (CtB) and Run the Bank (RtB) initiatives, tracking project progress, financials, dependencies, and delivery milestones.
- Drive financial planning and controlling, including budget tracking, forecasting, cost monitoring, and variance analysis.
- Coordinate day-to-day PMO operations and ensure timely completion of administrative, financial, and project-related activities.
- Manage invoice processing, validate invoices against contractual terms, and coordinate timely payments.
- Maintain and update contract repositories, ensuring accurate documentation and tracking of vendor and partner agreements.
- Analyse financial and project data to identify deviations, risks, budget overruns, and opportunities for improvement.
- Support governance forums, ensuring compliance with organisational policies, regulatory requirements, and audit standards.
- Monitor project milestones, KPIs, resource allocation, and delivery plans across the transformation portfolio.
- Prepare high-quality management reports, dashboards, presentations, and governance materials for senior leadership and external stakeholders.
- Improve PMO processes, reporting templates, and tools to enhance efficiency, transparency, and accountability.
- Collaborate with Agile delivery teams to promote standardised processes and continuous improvement.
- Support cross-functional governance activities and ensure alignment with overall transformation objectives.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in PMO, project management, change management, financial controlling, or business management.
- Experience working with a global financial institution, banking organisation, or large-scale transformation programme.
- Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and variance analysis.
- Advanced MS Excel skills, with the ability to analyse large datasets and automate reporting processes.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, JIRA, Confluence, and reporting or visualisation tools such as Tableau.
- Experience in invoice management, vendor coordination, and contract documentation is an advantage.
- Ability to prepare, review, and present management reports to senior stakeholders.
- Good understanding of Agile delivery methodologies, particularly the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
- Strong analytical, organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, global environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- SAFe or Agile certification.
- Experience in technology transformation or software delivery programmes.
- Exposure to financial markets and banking operations.
- Experience in reporting automation and process improvement initiatives.
