PL/SQL Tech Lead

As a Tech Lead at Carelon Global Solutions India, you will play a crucial role in refining and enhancing the capabilities of existing systems to meet our engineering requirements. You will be responsible for leading and mentoring a small team of software developers, overseeing the development of data pipelines and backend services using Python and Snowflake, and crafting efficient PL/SQL queries and stored procedures. Collaborating closely with architects and stakeholders, you will design robust and scalable systems, pitch innovative ideas, and advocate for best practices in system architecture and software design. Your responsibilities will include conducting code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards, resolving technical obstacles, and driving the team towards continuous improvement and agile execution. With your strong agile/scrum development experience, you will interpret user stories and implement technical solutions effectively. Communication and collaboration within distributed project teams will be key, as you design, develop, and maintain new product introduction related health care application systems. To excel in this role, you should hold a full-time IT Engineering or equivalent degree, preferably in Computers, and have at least 8 years of professional experience in software/data engineering. Proficiency in PL/SQL Development, Snowflake Dev, SQL, and Python technologies is essential, along with demonstrated leadership in managing and mentoring engineering teams. Your architectural mindset, experience in agile environments, and excellent communication skills will be vital in coordinating across teams and influencing decision-making.
