Job Title: PLC Programmer Location: Korattur, Ambattur, Chennai Experience: 3 to 5 Years Industry: Electroplating Plant / Industrial Automation / Manufacturing Company Overview: Sri Sai Electroplating Automation Pvt Ltd is a leading manufacturer of turnkey electroplating plants and automation systems. We specialize in automated, semi-automatic, and manual plating plant solutions with integrated PLC, SCADA, and HMI programming. Job Description: We are looking for a skilled PLC Programmer with hands-on experience in industrial automation (preferably electroplating or surface finishing plants). The candidate must be proficient in Siemens PLC or similar platforms and should also be capable of preparing electrical circuit diagrams , panel board drawings , and cost estimations for all automation-related components. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement PLC programs (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Delta, etc.). Configure, test, and troubleshoot PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems. Prepare detailed electrical panel circuit diagrams and wiring layouts using AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN. Estimate costs of PLC hardware, control panels, electrical components, drives, wiring, sensors , and automation devices. Select components based on project requirements and prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) with pricing. Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to obtain and compare quotations. Support field installation and commissioning at customer sites. Maintain complete documentation for control systems and electrical designs. Required Skills: Proficient in PLC programming (Siemens or equivalent) . Strong working knowledge of SCADA, HMI development, and industrial networking . Skilled in electrical circuit diagram design and panel layout . Experience in estimating material costs and preparing BOMs. Familiar with automation hardware specifications and procurement. Understanding of plating process control and chemical plant automation is an added advantage. Qualifications: Diploma / BE in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related field. 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in industrial automation and electrical design . Experience in electroplating plant or surface finishing systems preferred.
