Platform Architect - Automotive Technologies

Role Overview: As a senior technical lead at Qualcomm Automotive Infotainment Team, your primary role will be to lead multiple teams of architects, technical leads, compute hardware, and software engineers in optimization efforts. You will play a crucial part in driving ASPICE Compliance and defining a strategic roadmap to ensure the delivery of best-in-class service capabilities for Qualcomm's Automotive Engineering teams. Your responsibilities will also include establishing robust processes for requirements specifications, prioritization, and solution development that align with the larger Automotive Global team. Additionally, you will be tasked with defining and implementing Automotive use cases, driving system validation methodologies, and overseeing robust release management processes. Key Responsibilities: - Lead multiple teams of architects, technical leads, compute hardware, and software engineers in optimization efforts - Drive ASPICE Compliance and define a strategic roadmap for best-in-class service capabilities - Establish robust processes for requirements specifications, prioritization, and solution development - Define and implement Automotive use cases, drive system validation methodologies, and oversee release management processes Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 6+ years of Software Engineering experience OR Master's degree with 5+ years OR PhD with 4+ years - 3+ years of work experience with Programming Languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc. - 12 to 14+ years of experience in the embedded domain designing, developing, and supporting software solutions - Strong C/C++ programming skills and experience in real-time SW development for embedded products - Experience in embedded platforms including low-level firmware, kernel, user-space components, and heterogeneous compute platforms,
