Role Overview

Placement & Student Relations Executive

The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, strong stakeholder management abilities, and a passion for helping students achieve their career goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with recruiters, hiring managers, HR professionals, and industry partners to generate placement opportunities.
• Coordinate end-to-end placement activities including job postings, employer engagement, interview scheduling, recruitment drives, and candidate tracking.
• Identify and connect with companies across Animation, VFX, Gaming, Graphic Design, UI/UX, Digital Media, IT, and Creative industries for hiring requirements.
• Manage and maintain student placement databases, employment records, recruiter contacts, and placement MIS reports.
• Communicate placement opportunities, interview schedules, assessment details, and recruitment updates to students.
• Conduct student profiling and map candidates to suitable job opportunities based on skills, specialization, and career aspirations.
• Guide students on resume building, interview preparation, professional communication, and job readiness.
• Coordinate virtual and on-campus recruitment drives, walk-ins, campus interviews, portfolio reviews, and employer presentations.
• Build and nurture relationships with alumni to create networking and placement opportunities.
• Prepare placement reports, hiring statistics, placement dashboards, and periodic updates for management.
• Ensure achievement of placement targets and support institutional employability initiatives.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline.
• 2-4 years of experience in Placement Coordination, Corporate Relations, Student Relations, Recruitment, Talent Acquisition, Career Services, Training & Placement, or Academic Operations.
• Experience working with educational institutions, training institutes, skill development organizations, edtech companies, or placement teams will be preferred.
• Strong networking and relationship-building skills with recruiters and corporate stakeholders.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, CRM tools, and database management.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and coordinate recruitment activities efficiently.
• Target-oriented and proactive approach towards achieving placement outcomes.
