Pipe Machine Operator (Extruder)

As a Pipe Machine Operator (Extruder), your role involves operating and maintaining extrusion machinery for the production of plastic pipes. Your main objective is to ensure consistent quality and efficient output of pipes according to specified standards. Key Responsibilities: - Set up and operate pipe extrusion machines, including start-up, shutdown, and changeovers. - Monitor extrusion process parameters (temperature, pressure, speed, etc.) and make necessary adjustments. - Load raw materials (e.g., PVC, HDPE pellets) into the extruder and ensure continuous supply. - Inspect finished pipes for quality control, including checking dimensions, thickness, and surface finish. - Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting of machinery. - Record production data such as output quantity, machine settings, and material usage. - Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE at all times. - Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area. - Communicate with supervisors and quality control teams regarding any issues or defects. - Assist in training junior operators or helpers if required.
