Physical Education Teacher

You are looking for a Physical Education Teacher who will play a crucial role in enhancing students" physical abilities and knowledge of sports. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the well-being of students and help them acquire the necessary qualifications to progress in their education or chosen career paths post-school. You will oversee practical PE lessons, both indoors and outdoors, and ensure that students participate at their appropriate skill levels, safeguarding them from unnecessary injuries or illnesses during school sports activities. Motivating students to explore new sports and athletic endeavors will be a key part of your role. Additionally, you will assess students" performance throughout the academic year, provide detailed progress reports to parents during parent-teacher meetings, and train school sports teams for successful participation in national events. Transporting individual competitors, school teams, and fellow teachers to and from sporting events will also fall under your purview. Ultimately, you will be responsible for ensuring that students pass both practical and theoretical PE exams. To excel in this position, you should hold a B. Ped qualification and preferably have prior experience as a PE Teacher or Sports Teacher. A profound understanding of the subject matter, familiarity with health and safety regulations, and strong verbal and written communication skills are essential. Your nurturing and adaptable teaching approach, along with excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving abilities, will be invaluable.
