We are seeking a highly skilled Manual Tester with hands-on experience in Payment Switch systems (such as BASE24, FIS, Connex, or other switching platforms). The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating the functionality, performance, and reliability of critical financial transactions and interfaces within payment ecosystems. This role is essential to ensure seamless and secure processing across payment channels such as POS, ATM, e-commerce, and mobile. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and execute test cases and test scenarios for payment switch-related projects. Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing of transaction processing systems. Validate payment flows, including authorization, settlement, reversal, chargeback, and reconciliation. Conduct ISO 8583 message validation and ensure accurate mapping and transaction flow. Verify transaction processing between various systems – including issuer, acquirer, card networks, and payment gateways. Work closely with developers, business analysts, and QA leads to clarify requirements and resolve defects. Log, track, and manage defects in bug tracking tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla. Perform batch job testing and backend validation using SQL or database queries. Prepare test reports, logs, and documentation as per QA standards. Collaborate in UAT support and deployment verification activities Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in software QA with a strong focus on manual testing. Minimum 1-2 years of hands-on experience with Payment Switch systems. Solid understanding of ISO 8583 messaging, EMV transactions, and various card/payment types. Experience working in banking, fintech, or digital payment domains. Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Postman, and SQL clients. Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills. Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams. Nice To Have Familiarity with Visa, Mastercard, Rupay, UnionPay, or other card schemes. Exposure to cloud environments or API testing. Skills:- Manual testing, Payment systems, JIRA and Postman
