University: Delft University of Technology (TU Delft) Country: Netherlands Deadline: 26th June 2025 Fields: Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Science, Geoscience, Oceanography A new PhD position is available within the Offshore Engineering group at Delft University of Technology (TU Delft), focusing on advancing research in underwater acoustics and its environmental impacts. The successful candidate will contribute to the MSCA Doctoral Network BETTER project (MSCA-DN), with a specific emphasis on developing sound and vibration maps for bottom-fixed and floating wind installations. The position is hosted by the Environmental Vibrations & Acoustics Lab, Faculty of Civil Engineering and Geosciences. Requirements – A relevant master’s degree in engineering, geoscience, environmental science, or a closely related discipline – Strong interest in underwater acoustics, vibrations, and offshore wind energy – Excellent analytical and communication skills – Motivation to work in a collaborative, international research environment Interested candidates are invited to apply by 26th June 2025.
