Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D)
- Registration with the relevant state or national pharmacy council
Experience:
- minimum 1 year experience in a pharmacy setting
-proven track record of providing excellent patient care and pharmaceutical services
- Experience in hospital, retail, or clinical pharmacy settings is an advantage
Key Roles
1. Dispensing medications: Accurately preparing and dispensing prescribed medications to patients.
2. Patient counseling: Providing patients with information on medication use, potential side effects, and proper storage.
3. Medication management: Monitoring patients' medication regimens and identifying potential issues.
Responsibilities
1. Medication safety: Ensuring the safe storage, handling, and disposal of medications.
2. Patient education: Educating patients on healthy lifestyles, disease management, and medication adherence.
3. Collaboration with healthcare teams: Working with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and outcomes.
4. Staying up-to-date with industry developments: Participating in continuing education and staying current with new medications, guidelines, and research.
