Pharmacist

Job Summary

Apollo Pharmacy is seeking a qualified and customer-focused Pharmacist to ensure the safe and effective dispensing of medications, provide excellent patient care, and support pharmacy operations in compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have strong product knowledge, attention to detail, and a commitment to customer service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications accurately and safely
• Review prescriptions for appropriateness, dosage, interactions, and contraindications
• Counsel customers on medication usage, side effects, storage, and lifestyle advice
• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements (Drugs & Cosmetics Act, Pharmacy Act, etc.)
• Maintain proper documentation, billing, and record-keeping
• Manage inventory, including ordering, stocking, and expiry control
• Coordinate with doctors and healthcare professionals when required
• Handle customer queries, complaints, and provide health-related guidance
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization of the pharmacy premises
• Support health camps, vaccination drives, and wellness initiatives as per company policy

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm)
• Registered Pharmacist with State Pharmacy Council
• 0–5 years of experience in retail pharmacy (freshers may apply)
• Experience in organized retail pharmacy preferred

Pay: From ₹23,000.00 per month
