Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Dispense medications as per the doctor's prescriptions and ensure accuracy.
Verify prescriptions, dosage, drug interactions, and potential contraindications.
Maintain proper stock of medicines, including expiry tracking and inventory management.
Ensure proper storage and handling of medicines as per regulatory guidelines.
Counsel patients regarding medication usage, dosage, precautions, and side effects.
Maintain pharmacy records, billing details, and dispensing registers.
Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals regarding medication-related queries.

Preferred candidate profile

Valid Pharmacy Council registration.
Relevant diploma or degree in Pharmacy.
Experience in hospital or retail pharmacy will be an added advantage.
