Responsibilities Perform detailed structural analysis and design of steel and concrete structures using STAAD.Pro for offshore and onshore Oil & Gas facilities. Carry out design and analysis for offshore structures and onshore such as jackets, topsides, skids, and modules under various load conditions. Execute pre-service analyses (Lift, Load-Out, Transportation) and in-service analyses (In-Place, Fatigue, Seismic, Boat Impact, Pushover) for offshore platforms. Conduct static, dynamic, and non-linear analysis of complex structures, including equipment foundations, pipe racks, buildings, and modules. Perform foundation design, pile capacity checks, and soil-structure interaction analysis.(Optional) Prepare and review design basis documents, calculation reports, material take-offs (MTOs), drawings, and datasheets. Review and approve vendor drawings, fabrication drawings, and third-party engineering deliverables for compliance with design codes and project specifications. Ensure design compliance with international standards such as API-RP-2A, AISC, BS, DNV, IS, ASCE, and Eurocodes. Provide engineering support during fabrication, load-out, installation, and site construction, resolving technical queries and design deviations. Coordinate with other engineering disciplines (Piping, Process, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, and Civil) for load data, layouts, and interface requirements. Participate in design reviews, 3D model reviews, and interdisciplinary check (IDC) sessions, providing structural inputs and resolving clashes. Support proposal and estimation activities, including man-hour estimation, technical clarifications, and preparation of design deliverables list. Collaborate with Naval Architects, Marine, and Transportation teams for load-out, lifting, and sea-fastening analyses. Contribute to HSE reviews and risk assessments, ensuring safe and constructible designs. Mentor and guide junior engineers, review their work, and ensure technical accuracy and quality compliance. Ensure timely completion of deliverables within defined budgets and schedules.
