Job Opportunity: Contracts / Claims Engineer – India (Energy Sector) Location: Gurugram - India Experience: 10–15 years in EPC / Construction (Oil & Gas, Refineries, Petrochemicals, LNG, Infrastructure) Energy industry experience is mandatory | Middle East experience preferred About the Role We are seeking an experienced Contracts / Claims Engineer with strong commercial acumen and a solid background in both pre-award and post-award contract and subcontract management. The selected professional will be responsible for claims management, delay analysis coordination, negotiation strategies, and dispute resolution across high-value EPC / Construction projects. Key Responsibilities Develop comprehensive claims and negotiation strategies to support favourable commercial outcomes. Preparation and evaluation of Quantum and Delay Claims , ensuring robust documentation and justification. Experienced to apply multiple EOT / delay assessment methodologies , interfacing closely with delay analysts and project controls. Collaborate effectively with Project, Planning, Engineering, and Construction teams to gather inputs and validate positions. Identify contractual risks, entitlements, and mitigation measures , and support dispute resolution processes, as required. Undertake tender reviews, variations, change management, and subcontract administration throughout the project lifecycle. Required Qualifications & Skills Engineering Graduate (Mechanical / Civil / Electrical / Construction / relevant discipline). 10–15 years of hands-on experience in EPC / construction contract administration & claims management. Demonstrated ability to interpret contracts, analyse complex project data, and prepare structured claim narratives. Strong commercial awareness and analytical problem-solving capability. Strong command of English (written and verbal) , capable of preparing high-quality submissions and communicating at all levels. Preferred Attributes Experience on major Energy sector projects (Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical, LNG) is mandatory . Middle East project experience is highly advantageous. Ability to work independently and manage priorities under pressure and deliver within tight deadlines. Job Type: Full-time
