Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Design and execute performance tests using JMeter to evaluate system behavior under different loads and conditions.
Simulate heavy user loads to assess the performance of web applications, APIs, and backend systems.
Monitor and analyze system performance metrics to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and potential failures.
Collaborate with the development team to understand system architecture and provide actionable insights for performance improvements.
Document test scenarios, results, and recommendations clearly and effectively.
Participate in performance planning and capacity planning activities.
Stay updated with the latest performance testing tools, methodologies, and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
-2+ years of experience in performance testing, preferably with JMeter.
Strong understanding of software performance testing principles, including load, stress, and endurance testing.
Proficient in using JMeter for test creation, execution, and reporting.
Familiarity with web technologies (HTTP, REST, SOAP) and application servers (e.g., Apache, Tomcat, JBoss).
Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., JVisualVM, New Relic, Dynatrace) is a plus.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills to present findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
