PEGA professional with strong expertise in data extraction, integration, and reporting from PEGA applications. The role focuses on extracting structured and unstructured data from PEGA systems for downstream systems, analytics, regulatory reporting, and data warehouses, ensuring accuracy, performance, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Data Extraction & Integration
Design and implement data extraction solutions from PEGA using:
Report Definitions (RD)
BIX (Business Intelligence Exchange)
Data Pages (Declare Pages)
REST/SOAP services
Extract case data, history, audit trails, work objects, and reference data from PEGA.
Prepare data feeds for ETL tools, Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, and reporting platforms.
PEGA Configuration & Development
Configure and optimize:
Class structures and properties
Report Definitions and Indexes
Data Pages (load strategies, refresh strategies)
Build reusable rules for batch and near-real-time extraction.
Implement data mappings between PEGA and external systems
Performance & Optimization
Optimize reports and data extracts for high-volume data.
Analyze and resolve performance bottlenecks related to:
Large case volumes
Complex joins and filters
BIX extractions and scheduled jobs
Monitor and tune database interactions.
Compliance & Data Governance
Ensure data extraction aligns with:
Security rules & Access Groups
GDPR / Privacy / Retention policies
Mask or filter sensitive data based on role and purpose.
Maintain auditability and traceability of extracted data.
Desired skills:
Kafka knowledge, including:
Sending messages to Kafka
Reading/consuming messages from Kafka through integration
Basic Kafka maintenance and troubleshooting
