Patent Search Senior Analyst

As a Patent Search Analyst at our Noida office, you will be an integral part of the IP Search Team, collaborating with Fortune 100 clients and supporting them through various stages of IP life cycle management. Your role will involve engaging in Prior-art Searching (Patentability/Validity/Invalidity), Evidence-of-Use, and Freedom-to-Operate searches, specifically within the chem/Pharma domain. If you have expertise in any of these services or a passion for working on emerging technologies, we are interested in connecting with you. **Key Responsibilities:** - Execute searches of low to medium complexity for technical information to assist customers in making patent-related decisions. - Conduct qualitative analysis of patents and non-patent literature, focusing on technical aspects of disclosures. - Ensure thorough prior art searches within project scope, identifying the most relevant prior art through a comprehensive search strategy. - Meet internal deadlines with high-quality deliverables that meet project objectives and customer expectations. - Contribute to customer satisfaction by creating top-notch deliverables, updating technical skills, participating in trainings, and enhancing IP database knowledge. - Support in achieving team Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), engage in continuous improvement initiatives, and adhere to organizational policies. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or related field. - Minimum of 5 years of IP service experience with intermediate knowledge of US, European, and/or other jurisdiction patent law. - Proficiency in using patent and non-patent literature search databases, MS Word, and MS Excel. - Desirable qualifications include an M. Sc/ M. Tech/Ph. D degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or related domain. - Expertise in Microsoft Excel, including chart/graph generation and data handling. This full-time role is based in Noida, India (IST) with a hybrid work mode, requiring 40 working hours per week.
