We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant & MIS Executive with strong knowledge of accounting, taxation, GST, TDS & MIS reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, experience with accounting software, and a meticulous approach to managing financial data. The role involves managing day-to-day accounts, reconciliations, statutory compliance, and financial reporting , while preparing accurate MIS reports to support management decision-making. Role & responsibilities : Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including managing accounts payable/receivable, reconciling bank statements, and processing invoices. MIS Reporting: Prepare and deliver MIS reports for daily, weekly, and monthly review to support management decisions. General Ledger Management: Post and maintain general ledger entries, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded accurately and on time. Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards. Tax Compliance: Prepare and assist with tax filings including GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements. Audit Preparation: Support internal and statutory audits by providing accurate financial data and necessary documentation. Documentation: Maintain organized records of all financial transactions and supporting documents, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations. Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis to monitor financial performance. Cash Flow Management: Monitor inflows and outflows, ensuring efficient cash flow and timely payments/collections. Preferred candidate profile A bachelor degree in accounting, Finance, commerce or a related field is preferred. Professional certifications are plus. Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles. Familiarity with accounting software like Busy, Tally Prime, Zoho etc. Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications. Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations, including GST, TDS. Ability to work with financial data and perform complex reconciliations.
