Whats on offer?

This is a 4-week contract-based role offering:

• Remuneration: Base pay of approx. INR 40,000*
• Additional performance incentives: Up to INR 16,000

*The remuneration is estimated for a group of 35 students for a 4-week unit that requires approx. 5-6 hours of effort per week.

Roles & Responsibilities

The LINC Fellow is expected to:

• Provide subject matter guidance to a cohort of 30-35 undergraduate students
• Deliver a weekly two-hour lecture scheduled between 7:30 AM and 12:00 PM IST on either Monday or Tuesday
• Be available to conduct a proctored quiz or live Q&A session on Wednesday or Thursday (if required)
• Grade student assignments and provide detailed feedback each week
• Guide students on course content and assessments
• Support students in developing academic skills such as writing, research, and time management
• Deliver timely, proactive, and personalised support to student queries (within 6 hours every day)

Engagement with students will take place via email, webinars, and online platforms (Moodle) within defined availability hours.

Desired candidate profile

• Doctoral qualification or Masters in Cybersecurity/ICT-related field with distinction or first class from a top university
• 3+ years of teaching experience in related courses
• 2+ years of professional corporate experience in the field of Information Systems
• Familiarity with current academic and business communication practices, referencing styles, AI usage, and academic integrity policies
• Empathetic, ambitious, warm and outgoing personality, willing to work closely with people from diverse cultures
• Proficient in English, with excellent oral and written communication
• A working laptop and high-speed (10+ Mbps) stable internet connection
• Ability to quickly learn and use technology platforms for interacting with students, including the host universitys LMS and LINCtrac (training will be provided)

Availability requirements

The candidate is expected to be available 7 days a week, during which they may put in 2-3 hours of work based on student needs and marking load.
