Parinaama Development Foundation is a non-profit organisation committed to creating inclusive and sustainable development programs for marginalized communities in India. We work across themes of education, health and livelihoods. We are looking for a creative and driven Content Strategist to lead our storytelling and communication efforts across platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, creating, and managing engaging content for digital and print mediums. Key Responsibilities: Develop content for all social media handles (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, Youtube) and maintain a monthly calendar to ensure timely delivery across all platforms. Create and curate stories from the field that reflect the voices of the communities we work with. Write and edit content for organizational reports including impact reports, program updates, and annual reports. Conduct field visits (as required) to gather real stories, quotes, photos, and videos from beneficiaries and project locations. Ensure consistency in tone, language, and messaging across all content is aligned with Parinaama’s mission and voice. Skills & Qualifications: Minimum 1 year of professional experience in content creation, journalism, communications, or a related field. Strong understanding of the non-profit sector with a deep interest in storytelling and social impact narratives. Proficiency in writing long-form content (reports, blogs) and short-form content (posts, captions, reels). Technical expertise in using Canva, MailChimp (or similar email-marketing tools), Microsoft Office (Powerpoint, Word and Excel). Good understanding of social media trends, content formats, and audience engagement strategies. Ability to script videos, conduct interviews, develop storyboards, and coordinate with designers or videographers. Comfortable with occasional travel to field sites for documentation. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Proficiency in Hindi, Bengali or Odiya is a plus).
