Preferred candidate profile Production Management: Develop and implement production schedules, monitor production flow, and ensure timely output of plastic products to meet customer demands. Quality Assurance: Oversee quality control processes, analyze quality issues, and ensure products meet set standards and specifications. Team Leadership: Hire, train, and supervise production staff, including equipment operators, and foster a safe and productive work environment. Equipment & Maintenance: Maintain and troubleshoot injection moulding machines and auxiliary equipment to minimize downtime and ensure uninterrupted production. Inventory & Resource Management: Manage raw material and finished goods inventory to ensure efficient resource utilization and control costs. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization, implement improvements using methods like Kaizen or Six Sigma, and reduce waste and downtime. Safety & Compliance: Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations, and promote a strong safety culture on the shop floor. Budget & Cost Control: Monitor and manage production costs, implement cost-saving measures, and ensure financial targets are met. Collaboration: Work with other departments, such as quality control, maintenance, planning, and purchasing, to ensure smooth operation and coordination. Required Skills & Knowledge Strong understanding of injection moulding machines, processes, and materials. Experience in supervisory or leadership roles. Expertise in quality control and assurance procedures. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
