Job Title: VMC Operator Company: PAL TECHNOLOGY Location: SECTOR 7 , NOIDA We are seeking a skilled and motivated VMC (Vertical Machining Center) Operator to join our dynamic team at PAL TECHNOLOGY. As a VMC Operator, you will be responsible for operating, setting up, and maintaining our vertical machining centers to produce high-quality machined components according to specifications. **Key Responsibilities:** 1. **Machine Setup and Operation:** - Set up and operate vertical machining centers to produce precision components as per engineering drawings and specifications. - Load raw materials into the machine and secure them properly for machining. - Select appropriate cutting tools and adjust machine parameters for efficient operations. 2. **Programming and Tooling:** - Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to program the VMC for machining operations. - Select and install appropriate cutting tools and fixtures for each machining process. - Modify programs and tooling as necessary to optimize machining processes and achieve desired outcomes. 3. **Quality Assurance:** - Monitor machine operations and adjust settings to ensure parts meet specified tolerances and quality standards. - Conduct regular quality checks using precision measuring instruments and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality standards. 4. **Maintenance and Troubleshooting:** - Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning to ensure optimal performance and longevity of the equipment. - Troubleshoot and diagnose machine issues, making minor repairs and adjustments when necessary, and reporting major issues to the maintenance department. 5. **Safety and Compliance:** - Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others. - Comply with company policies and procedures, including proper handling and disposal of materials and adherence to operational guidelines. **Qualifications:** - High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in machining is a plus. - Proven experience as a VMC Operator or similar role in a manufacturing or machining setting. - Strong understanding of machining principles, tooling selection, and machine setup. - Proficiency in reading technical drawings and blueprints. - Familiarity with various precision measuring instruments. - Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Strong communication and problem-solving skills. - Knowledge of safety guidelines and practices in a machining environment.
