PADECO was established in 1983. With a practice including economics, financial, management, legal, institutional, and planning studies for a wide range of public and private organizations. PADECO INDIA PVT LTD (PIPL) is a subsidiary of PADECO, Japan registered as a formal business entity in India. PADECO has experience in a variety of fields in both soft and hard sectors in the arena of Transport, Urban and Land use planning, Education, Energy and Electricity, Finance and Economics, Tourism, Capacity Building, Environment, ICT, social development, Business, Trade, and Private Sector Development, Rural Development and Agriculture. PADECO is operational in India for the last 25 years and in January 2014 branch office in Mumbai was established. PADECO is currently working on more than twenty-five projects in India like MTHL (longest sea bridge in India), Mumbai-Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail, Mumbai Metro Line 3, Line 1, Line 2A & Line 7, Santacruz Chamber Link Road (SCLR), Bangalore Metro, Mumbai Kala Nagar flyover, Goregaon Mulund Link Road (GMLR), Thane Creek Bridge-III, Odisha Forestry, Dhubri-Phulbari (longest river bridge in India), Up-gradation of NH 54 Highway in Mizoram, efficiency improvement of EMU rakes in Western & Central railway Mumbai, Several JICA, ADB, and World Bank studies.
