About the Role

Regal Kitchen Foods Limited is looking for a Packaging Designer to develop attractive, accurate, and production-ready packaging for our food products. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in packaging artwork, print production requirements, and maintaining a consistent brand identity across products.

Key Responsibilities

• Design product packaging, labels, pouches, sleeves, cartons, and other packaging materials as per product requirements.
• Develop packaging concepts, layouts, and artwork for new products and update existing designs.
• Adapt artwork across different SKUs, pack sizes, brands, and market requirements.
• Prepare print-ready files with accurate dielines, dimensions, bleed, colour specifications, and image resolution.
• Incorporate approved product information, ingredients, nutritional details, barcodes, and other required content accurately.
• Coordinate with marketing, product, quality, and production teams to finalise packaging artwork.
• Coordinate with printers and packaging vendors to review proofs and resolve artwork-related issues.
• Ensure designs align with brand guidelines and quality standards.
• Use AI-powered design tools for concept exploration, image enhancement, and improved design efficiency.
• Maintain organised artwork files, revisions, and approved versions to avoid printing errors.

Required Skills & Experience

• 2- 4 years of relevant experience in packaging design and artwork development.
• Proficiency in

  CorelDRAW, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop

• Hands-on knowledge of

  AI tools for design

• Strong understanding of packaging layouts, typography, colour combinations, and visual hierarchy.
• Practical knowledge of dielines, CMYK and Pantone colours, bleed, pre-press requirements, and print-ready file preparation.
• Attention to detail when handling product information and artwork revisions.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
• A portfolio showcasing packaging designs and completed artwork projects.

Preferred Background

• Experience in food, FMCG, or consumer product packaging.
• Experience coordinating with printers and packaging suppliers.
• Degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Packaging Design, Visual Communication, or a related field preferred.
