Position: Shift Engineer Location: New Delhi / Dehradun Industry: Malls, Facilities Management Groups, Commercial Properties Qualification: B.Tech. In Electrical / Mechanical Experience: 6 - 7 years (Minimum 3-4 years hands-on experience in Mall/ Facility Technical Operations) Job Description: We are looking for a proactive and skilled Shift Engineer to manage the technical operations of our facility. The ideal candidate should have relevant experience in mall/facility management and possess strong knowledge of engineering utilities and assets. Key Responsibilities: Conduct daily rounds of technical/utilities areas. Ensure proper working and preventive maintenance of engineering assets & equipment. Maintain and sign logbooks, checklists and ensure data entry/upkeep of records. Execute PPM (Planned Preventive Maintenance) activities as per schedule. Manage outsourced technical manpower and escalate shortage issues to Technical Manager/vendor. Monitor HSD stock and consumption daily. Attend and resolve engineering-related complaints within defined TAT. Ensure smooth shift handover with proper reporting of defects/activities. Ensure compliance with checklists, SOPs and governing documents. Provide timely suggestions/observations for improving maintenance systems. Desired Candidate Profile: B.Tech. in Electrical/Mechanical with 6-7 years of relevant experience. Minimum 34 years of hands-on experience in Mall/Facility Technical Operations . Strong knowledge of MEP services, equipment handling and utilities management. Good communication and team management skills. Ability to work in shifts and manage outsourced manpower.
