Role & responsibilities Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases (manual and automated) based on requirements and specifications. Perform API testing , functional , regression , integration , UI/UX , and performance testing . Write and maintain automated test scripts using TypeScript , Selenium , and Cypress and Backend Test cases in Pytest. Detect, log, and track bugs using JIRA and maintain traceability through tools like Bitbucket . Collaborate with the development team to reproduce issues and validate fixes. Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and methodologies. Work in an Agile environment and participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives. Communicate effectively with team members to identify root causes, solutions, and testing gaps. Required Skills & Qualifications 1+ years of experience in software testing with a focus on automation and API testing . Proficiency in TypeScript , Pytest , Selenium , and Cypress. Experience in writing test cases and executing testing processes in Agile/Scrum environments. Good understanding of QA methodologies , testing types (smoke, end to end, regression, functional, integration, etc.). Working knowledge of JIRA , Bitbucket , and similar tools for bug tracking and version control. Familiar with RESTful APIs and testing tools like Postman or Swagger . Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to quickly understand technical and product requirements. Strong verbal and written communication skills . Good to Have Experience or knowledge of Cucumber , JUnit , Gherkin , and Avocado frameworks. Exposure to BDD/TDD environments. ISTQB Certification or equivalent is a plus.
