Oracle Retail Xstore Technical Consultant

As a highly skilled Oracle Retail Xstore Consultant, your role will involve supporting and enhancing Oracle Retail Xstore and XOffice applications to ensure seamless functionality and peak operational performance in the retail domain. **Key Responsibilities:** - Understand customer business use cases and gather both functional and technical requirements for Oracle Retail Xstore and XOffice applications. - Design and maintain technical process flows, application architecture documentation, and as-built designs. - Provide IT solutions to address peak business operation challenges within Xstore. - Design, develop, and test features and enhancements in Xstore and associated applications. - Collaborate with Project Managers, Architects, and third-party developers to address data integration and business requirements. - Regularly engage with stakeholders to understand and support their data and process needs. **Qualifications Required:** - Mandatory Skills: - Oracle DB, SQL - Core Java - Oracle Xstore Suite - XML - Desired / Secondary Skills: - Experience in incident resolution using automated monitoring and alert systems. - Interface failure analysis and resolution. - Manage application maintenance tasks: data archiving, purging, and log management. - Monitor and optimize databases and applications for performance. - Track and coordinate patches/upgrades and base product service requests. - Identify and escalate recurring incidents using Problem Management processes with proper Root Cause Analysis (RCA). - Ensure application availability, integration, and critical process monitoring. - Collaborate with vendors and product teams for issue resolution and support. - Create Maintenance Notes (MNTs) and Knowledge Base articles to support L1 and L2 teams. - Coordinate with stakeholders for deployment validations and provide weekend support for P1/P2 incidents. - Participate in Month-End and Year-End activities ensuring operational continuity.
