Oracle DBA-Senior Software Engineer

As a Senior Software Engineer at Carelon Global Solutions (CGS), you will be responsible for managing and optimizing database systems, primarily Oracle, to ensure optimal performance and security. Your role will involve installing and maintaining database servers, administering various database systems, including Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server, and developing processes for enhancing database security. Additionally, you will be tasked with setting and maintaining database standards, managing database access, and recommending and implementing emerging database technologies. Your responsibilities will also include performance tuning of database systems, installing, upgrading, and managing database applications, diagnosing and troubleshooting database errors, and creating automation for repetitive database tasks. Strong communication skills are essential as you will be providing support to application teams, conducting training sessions on advanced PLSQL concepts, and collaborating closely with Core DBA teams to achieve system-level changes. To qualify for this role, you should have a B.E degree with at least 5 years of experience in Oracle DBA and Oracle PL_SQL Developer. The ideal candidate will possess excellent oral and written communication skills, expertise in Oracle Golden Gate, and a deep understanding of DB parameters, AWR & ASH reports analysis, and DB performance tuning at CODE and DB for 12c.
