About the Role

Looking for an experienced Oracle Database Administrator (Oracle DBA) with strong expertise in database administration, installation, configuration, performance tuning, backup and recovery, troubleshooting and database maintenance.The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience managing enterprise-level Oracle databases and providing production support in a 24×7 environment.

Key Responsibilities & Required Skills

•  Install, configure, upgrade and administer Oracle databases (11g/12c/19c).
•  Manage database backup and recovery using RMAN.
•  Perform database monitoring, performance tuning and optimization.
•  Manage Oracle RAC and Data Guard environments.
•  Handle database patching, upgrades and migrations.
•  Monitor database health, availability and performance.
•  Troubleshoot database-related issues and provide effective resolutions.
•  Manage database users, roles, privileges and security.
•  Perform database capacity planning and space management.
•  Support database replication, high availability and disaster recovery.
•  Write and troubleshoot SQL and PL/SQL queries.
•  Handle production database issues and critical escalations.
•  Coordinate with application, infrastructure and support teams.
•  Prepare technical documentation and support reports.

Required Experience & Qualifications

•  Minimum 7+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA.
•  Strong hands-on experience in Oracle Database Administration.
•  Good knowledge of Oracle RAC, Data Guard and RMAN.
•  Experience in database performance tuning and troubleshooting.
•  Understanding of database architecture and high availability concepts.
•  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•  Excellent communication and customer management skills.
•  Ability to work in a 24×7 support environment.
•  BE/BTech or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent preferred.

Good to Have Skills

•  Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Database Administration.
•  Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) 12c/13c.
•  Oracle GoldenGate.
•  Knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems and shell scripting.
•  Experience with AWS/Azure database services.
•  Oracle DBA certification

Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹1,800,000.00 per year
