Engineering Manager (Senior Technical Architect SaaS Prod)

As a Senior Technical Architect for a SaaS product in Mumbai, you will play a crucial role in architecting, designing, and deploying end-to-end solutions that are scalable, secure, and high-performing. Your responsibilities will include providing technical leadership across Backend, Frontend, and DevOps teams, evaluating and selecting appropriate technology stacks and cloud platforms, and establishing coding standards and DevOps best practices. You will collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to ensure that technology aligns with business objectives and guide engineering teams to drive innovation and implement best practices. Key Responsibilities: - Architect & Design end-to-end SaaS solutions with a focus on scalability, security, and performance. - Provide technical leadership across Backend, Frontend, and DevOps teams. - Evaluate and select the best-fit tech stack, cloud platforms, and frameworks. - Establish and enforce coding standards, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps best practices. - Conduct architecture reviews, performance tuning, and security assessments. - Lead migration, modernization, and refactoring efforts for legacy systems. - Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to align technology with business goals. - Guide and mentor engineering teams to drive innovation and implement best practices. Required Skills & Experience: - Strong expertise in Node.js, Python, and PostgresSQL for Backend (Microservices & APIs). - Experience with microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and GraphQL. - Hands-on experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and DynamoDB. - Knowledge of event-driven architectures using Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar. - Strong knowledge of React.js, Next.js, Vue.js, or Angular for Frontend development. - Hands-on experience with TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), and UI frameworks. - Experience in designing and optimizing high-performance web applications. - Expertise in AWS, Azure, or GCP for DevOps, Cloud & Security. - Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Helm. - Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD. - Experience in monitoring/logging tools like ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, and New Relic. Preferred Skills: - Experience with AI/ML integration in SaaS platforms, preferably from the Martech Industry. - Understanding of data engineering & analytics tools. - Exposure to Edge computing & IoT architectures.
