Position: Machine Operator
Department: Production / Fabrication / Machining
Location: [Loni/Dhaulana]
Reporting to: Production Supervisor / Plant In-charge

Key Responsibilities:

• VMC / HMC Operation
• Operate Vertical and Horizontal Machining Centers as per production requirements.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, job orders, and work instructions.
• Set tools, fixtures, and ensure proper job clamping.
• Monitor machining process and check critical dimensions using measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Height gauge, Bore gauge etc.).
• Perform routine maintenance and keep machines in good working condition.
• Laser Machine Operation
• Operate CNC Laser cutting machines to cut sheet metal as per drawings.
• Select proper cutting programs, set material, and optimize cutting parameters.
• Inspect cut parts for quality, accuracy, and surface finish.
• Ensure minimum wastage of raw material.
• Powder Coating
• Prepare components for powder coating (cleaning, masking, surface preparation).
• Operate powder coating spray equipment and curing ovens.
• Maintain coating thickness and finish as per specifications.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and housekeeping.
• Fabrication & Press Brake
• Operate Press Brake machines for sheet metal bending as per drawings.
• Perform fabrication activities such as cutting, drilling, welding, grinding, and assembly as required.
• Check dimensions, angles, and tolerances after bending/fabrication.
• Maintain tools, dies, and work area.
• General Responsibilities
• Adhere to production schedules and quality standards.
• Follow safety protocols, PPE usage, and housekeeping practices.
• Maintain records of production, downtime, and quality checks.
• Coordinate with supervisors and quality team for process improvements.
