Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to oversee industrial automation and robotics operations, including project execution, installation, integration, commissioning, and maintenance of robotic systems.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing site operations, engineering and maintenance teams, industrial automation projects, and associated equipment such as PLCs, conveyors, and control systems.

This role requires a hands-on professional who can ensure smooth project execution, maintain operational efficiency, meet delivery and quality targets, and support basic business development and marketing activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily site and project operations involving industrial robots and automation systems.
• Manage the installation, integration, testing, and commissioning of robotic and automation equipment.
• Ensure projects are completed within defined timelines, quality standards, and budgets.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, electrical schematics, and project documentation.
• Lead, manage, and mentor engineers, technicians, operators, and contract workers.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, supply chain, and other departments to ensure smooth project execution and material availability.
• Plan manpower, resources, and work schedules to improve productivity and operational efficiency.
• Manage preventive and breakdown maintenance of robotic systems, PLCs, conveyors, and other associated equipment.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, conduct root cause analysis, and minimize equipment downtime.
• Implement system upgrades, modifications, and process improvements to enhance operational performance.
• Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Support basic marketing and business development activities to generate new business opportunities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.
• Relevant experience in industrial automation, robotics, plant operations, or maintenance management.
• Strong understanding of industrial robots, PLCs, SCADA, conveyors, and control systems.
• Experience in installation, integration, commissioning, and troubleshooting of automation systems.
• Experience managing engineering, maintenance, or site operations teams.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance, and root cause analysis.
• Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and project plans.
• Strong project coordination, team management, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination abilities, with a willingness to support business development activities.

Ideal Candidate

A hands-on Operations / Maintenance professional from the industrial automation, robotics, manufacturing, steel, cement, mining, or heavy engineering industry, with experience handling site operations, automation projects, commissioning, equipment maintenance, and technical teams.
