Operations Engineer

As an Operations Engineer, you will support the operations and manage the delivery of production systems and services based on operational requirements and service agreements. Your typical day will involve ensuring the smooth functioning of production systems and services, addressing operational requirements, and adhering to service agreements. Your responsibilities will include setting up and configuring Windows Clustering, monitoring clusters, managing failovers, resources, vertical and horizontal scaling, troubleshooting issues, and managing Windows storage. Additionally, you will be involved in Microsoft Windows Server Administration for OS Windows 2016, 2019, and 2022. You are expected to actively participate in team discussions, manage and monitor production systems for optimal performance, maintain SLAs, implement and maintain system configurations, collaborate within and across teams for service delivery, and document operational processes and procedures for future reference. You are required to have strong knowledge of Windows Clusters hosted on Public and Private cloud infrastructures, the ability to read cluster logs, diagnose and resolve problems related to cluster communication, storage access, and application failover, and understanding of storage technologies for configuring shared storage for a cluster. Operational knowledge of Public Cloud Technologies like AWS, Azure, and OCI is essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Server Administration, understanding of system administration principles, experience with system monitoring and performance tuning, and knowledge of network protocols and security measures are must-have skills. Desired skills include experience with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Microsoft Windows Server Administration, be a team player, possess good communication skills, have the ability to multitask and adapt to shifting priorities in a 24x7 environment, and hold a 15-year full-time education qualification.,
