Release Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Manage application deployments using

  OpenShift (OCP)

  .
• Perform rolling deployments, zero-downtime deployments, scaling, and rollback using

  oc rollout

  .
• Configure and troubleshoot

  OpenShift Routes

  , TLS/Edge termination, and path-based routing.
• Diagnose deployment and runtime issues such as

  CrashLoopBackOff

  ,

  ImagePullBackOff

  , and

  OOMKilled

  .
• Use

  OC CLI

  for application deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and cluster administration.
• Integrate deployment processes with

  Jenkins CI/CD Pipelines

  .
• Manage

  BuildConfigs

  ,

  ImageStreams

  , and container image repositories.
• Monitor application and cluster health using OpenShift Console and Metrics.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth software releases.
