Role & responsibilities Cyber Security Senior Responsibilities: Provide strategic leadership and guidance in the development, implementation, and management of cyber security solutions for clients. Define and execute the firm's cyber security strategy, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert in cyber security. Lead and mentor a team of cyber security professionals, providing guidance, support, and fostering a culture of excellence. Conduct assessments of clients' cyber security posture, identify vulnerabilities, and recommend remediation measures. Oversee the implementation of cyber security controls, technologies, and processes to protect client assets and mitigate risks. Collaborate with other business units and stakeholders to integrate cyber security into overall risk management strategies. Manage complex cyber security incidents, lead incident response efforts, and provide timely communication and guidance to clients. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus. Minimum of 10 years of experience in the field of cyber security, preferably in a consulting or professional services environment. Strong knowledge and understanding of cyber security frameworks, standards, and best practices, such as NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, etc. Experience in implementing and managing Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions. Knowledge of Vulnerability Management (VM) tools and practices. Familiarity with Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems and processes. Understanding of Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) and Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) technologies. Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or other industry-recognized certifications are highly desirable. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels. Strong business acumen and the ability to translate technical concepts into business value. Ability to navigate complex client environments, build client relationships, and deliver exceptional client service. Understanding of data criticality, classify them and suggest controls accordingly. Understanding of Containers and Kubernetes and security best practices. Expert level security knowledge in technical IT domains such as operating systems, networks, databases, cloud or solution development etc. Experience in practical security vulnerability identification and remediation. Management of multiple stakeholders including business, IT and management. Information Security domains - two or more of the following: Risk Assessment, Vulnerability Management, Incident Management, Security Architecture, Application/Network Security. This experience should include both advisory and implementation experience.
