Education: BE/B. Tech in Computer Science/Electronics and communication

Experience: 8-10 years

Location: Bangalore

We are seeking an experienced Test Lead, to drive quality engineering initiatives across projects and programs. The individual will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for assigned applications and business domains, provide technical leadership to the testing team, support delivery management activities, and ensure high-quality releases through effective test planning, execution, and continuous improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate should possess a strong quality mindset, hands-on exposure to test automation, and proven ability to lead teams while collaborating effectively with customers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.

Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for assigned applications, business processes, and testing practices.

• Quickly understand functional modules, integrations, dependencies, and business workflows to guide the team effectively.
• Provide technical leadership on test design, test coverage, defect analysis, debugging, and validation approaches.
• Possess working knowledge of scripting languages such as Python and automation frameworks/tools such as Robot Framework, Selenium, Cucumber, etc.
• Drive test automation adoption and identify opportunities to improve test efficiency and coverage.
• Mentor team members through domain knowledge sharing and technical guidance.
• Lead test planning, execution, defect management, risk assessment, and change impact analysis to ensure quality deliverables.
• Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
• Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills, ensuring timely and effective communication with Test Manager, customers, and stakeholders in accordance with established communication SLAs.
• Identify opportunities to leverage AI and emerging modern technologies in testing and day-to-day test activities.
• Exposure to communication and connectivity technologies such as ZigBee, Matter, 4G/LTE, 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or similar protocols will be considered an added advantage.
