The role is located in Sonpur, with some flexibility for remote work. Responsibilities include conducting Bharat Natyam dance lessons, designing class plans, providing personalized feedback, and inspiring students to develop their skills and express themselves through dance. The dance teacher will also help in organizing practice sessions, choreographing performances, and maintaining an encouraging learning environment. Qualifications Strong skills in Bharat Natyam and a deep understanding of dance performance and instruction Experience in dance education and the effective teaching of students at various skill levels Knowledge of music, especially as it pertains to Bharat Natyam, and understanding rhythmic compositions and expressions Strong communication skills, patience, and an ability to inspire and motivate students Formal training or certification in Bharat Natyam is a plus Prior experience teaching Bharat Natyam is desirable Ability to work both online and in-person, as required
