Position Title: Senior Data Engineer – PySpark, Python, SQL, GCP (Remote – India, USA Client) 🏢 Company: Company Name- Vigved Global (Working with USA-based clients on long-term remote projects) 📍 Location: Remote (India-based candidates only) Client Location: USA 🧾 Job Description: We are hiring a Senior Data Engineer (Remote - India) to work with our USA-based client on enterprise-level data engineering projects. The role requires strong expertise in PySpark, Python, SQL, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This is a great opportunity to work in a global environment with a distributed team. You will help build and optimize robust, scalable data pipelines and support real-time and batch processing across cloud data systems. 🛠️ Key Responsibilities: Build and maintain scalable data pipelines using PySpark Write efficient Python code for data transformation and automation Develop and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction and aggregation Work with GCP services such as BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Dataflow Ensure high data quality, validation, and documentation of pipelines Collaborate closely with US-based data engineering and analytics teams Support production deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of data systems 🎯 Required Skills & Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering roles Strong knowledge of Apache Spark / PySpark Proficient in Python (data handling, ETL scripting) Advanced SQL skills and experience with large-scale databases Experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) – especially BigQuery, Dataflow, etc. Comfortable working in remote/distributed teams and using collaboration tools (Jira, Git, Slack) Excellent communication skills (as you’ll work directly with US stakeholders) 🌟 Preferred Skills: Experience with Airflow / Cloud Composer or similar orchestration tools Familiarity with data warehousing concepts, performance tuning, and cloud-native design Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies Exposure to other cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is a plus 👨‍💻 Employment Type: Full-time (Remote – India) Client-facing role with US team ⏰ Work Hours: Overlap with US Eastern / Central Time (Partial or Full) 💰 Salary Range: depending on skills & experience 📩 To Apply: Send your updated resume to: sandeep@oneprepx.com Subject line: Senior Data Engineer – Remote (US Client)
