Job Summary: Okapigreen Automation Pvt Ltd is seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant with at least 10 years of experience in accounting, taxation, and financial management. The ideal candidate must be well-versed with TallyPrime, capable of managing all aspects of financial operations independently, and ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial reporting. Core Duties and Responsibilities: Financial Record-Keeping : Record all financial transactions accurately and maintain updated books and ledgers in TallyPrime. Ensure all entries are properly classified and reconciled with supporting documentation. Financial Reporting : Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Provide timely reports and insights to management for strategic decision-making. Accounts Management : Manage Accounts Payable (vendor bills, purchase orders, supplier payments) and Accounts Receivable (customer invoices, collections, and credit control). Monitor cash flow and maintain accurate bank reconciliations. Payroll : Process employee salaries, wages, and statutory deductions (PF, ESI, TDS, etc.) using TallyPrime or relevant modules. Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure compliance with statutory deadlines. Taxation : Prepare and file GST, TDS, Income Tax, and Professional Tax returns accurately and on schedule. Provide tax planning and advisory support to minimize liabilities and ensure compliance with current laws. Auditing and Compliance : Conduct internal audits and support external audits to ensure adherence to accounting standards and company policies. Ensure compliance with Companies Act, Income Tax Act, GST laws, and other applicable regulations. Budgeting and Forecasting : Develop annual budgets and financial forecasts and track performance against actuals. Identify cost-saving opportunities and contribute to overall financial efficiency. Financial Analysis : Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and improvement areas. Provide actionable insights and recommendations to management for better profitability. Required Skills and Competencies: Expert-level proficiency in TallyPrime and advanced skills in MS Excel. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and statutory compliance. Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills. High accuracy, integrity, and ability to manage deadlines. Effective communication and leadership skills to coordinate with internal teams and auditors. Educational Qualification: B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent. CA (Inter) or related professional certification preferred. Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, and taxation preferably in automobile manufacturing sector.
