Job Description OFSAA Tester

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced OFSAA Tester with strong expertise in functional testing, SQL, database validation, and ETL testing within the banking and financial services domain. The candidate will be responsible for validating OFSAA applications, executing test scenarios, identifying data discrepancies, managing defects, and supporting SIT, UAT, regression testing, and production releases.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform functional, system integration (SIT), regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for OFSAA applications.
- Validate OFSAA modules, including FCCM, AML, KYC, ECM, FTP, ALM, and LRM.
- Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and source-to-target mapping documents.
- Design, develop, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts.
- Perform SQL-based database testing, data validation, reconciliation, and backend testing.
- Validate ETL processes, data transformations, and data flows from source systems to OFSAA.
- Identify, document, track, and retest defects using JIRA, HP ALM, or Azure DevOps.
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, SMEs, and business users throughout the testing lifecycle.
- Prepare test execution reports, defect metrics, and status updates.
- Support release validation, production testing, and deployment activities.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes.
Required Skills
- 6–8 years of experience in software testing, preferably with substantial hands-on OFSAA testing experience.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA).
- Hands-on experience with SQL, Oracle databases, and backend data validation.
- Experience in ETL testing, data warehousing, data mapping, and source-to-target reconciliation.
- Strong understanding of functional testing, SIT, UAT, and regression testing.
- Experience in test case design, test execution, defect tracking, and test documentation.
- Good understanding of banking and financial services processes.
- Familiarity with SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
- Exposure to UNIX/Linux environments.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with OFSAA FCCM, AML, KYC, or Enterprise Case Management implementations.
- Knowledge of funds transfer pricing, asset-liability management, and liquidity risk management.
- Exposure to MySQL and test automation tools.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and Azure DevOps.
- Knowledge of banking compliance, regulatory reporting, and financial risk management.
