As a Motion Design Intern at Off-Set, a multidisciplinary creative studio specializing in motion design, 3D, and interaction design, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects that involve bringing static ideas to life through captivating visuals. Collaborating closely with our design and creative leads, you will play a key role in creating motion assets for brand campaigns, UI animations, and marketing content. Your responsibilities will include animating illustrations, typography, and 3D elements, as well as supporting storyboarding and visual exploration for diverse projects. Additionally, you will have the chance to contribute to brainstorming sessions, develop new motion concepts, and ensure the timely delivery of final assets in various formats. It is essential to stay updated on current motion design trends and tools to excel in this role. To succeed in this position, you should possess a strong foundation in design principles such as typography, composition, color, and timing. Proficiency in motion design tools, particularly After Effects, is a must, and familiarity with Blender, Cinema 4D, or similar 3D tools is a bonus. A basic understanding of storyboarding and visual storytelling, coupled with a passion for animation and a willingness to experiment, will set you up for success. Attention to detail, the ability to meet deadlines, and a portfolio or reel showcasing your motion work, including personal or student projects, are essential qualifications for this role.
