Job Description: Account Executive We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Account Executive to manage day-to-day accounting activities of the organization. The Account Executive will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing vouchers, handling invoices, and ensuring accurate bookkeeping in compliance with company policies and accounting standards. The role requires regular coordination with internal departments and external parties such as vendors, banks, and auditors. The candidate will be expected to manage accounts payable and receivable, prepare monthly financial reports, assist in tax-related work such as GST and TDS filings, and support the preparation of balance sheets and profit and loss statements. Maintaining proper documentation, reconciling bank statements, and ensuring timely payments and collections will also be key responsibilities of the role. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of accounting principles, proficiency in accounting software such as Tally or similar systems, and good knowledge of MS Excel. Attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to meet deadlines are essential. A bachelor’s degree in Commerce or Accounting is preferred, along with relevant work experience in an accounting or finance role. The employee will be responsible for preparing dispatch bills and delivery challans for the shoe industry, ensuring accuracy in product details such as shoe model, size, colour, quantity, and rate. All dispatch documents must be prepared in coordination with the production and sales departments and issued on time to avoid delays in shipment. The role also includes verifying goods before dispatch and ensuring that challans and invoices match the physical stock. The candidate will maintain proper stock records for finished goods and dispatched items, regularly updating stock registers or software systems. They will monitor inward and outward stock movement, reconcile daily stock balances, and report shortages or discrepancies to management. Proper documentation of returns, damaged goods, and rejected items will also be part of the responsibility. In addition, the employee will coordinate with transporters, maintain dispatch registers, track deliveries, and ensure timely receipt of signed challans. Maintaining accurate records, supporting audits, and ensuring compliance with company procedures will be essential. Attention to detail, basic accounting knowledge, and familiarity with inventory management are required for this role.
