Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Marketing Coordinator, located in Mumbai. Job description Company Name:- NRB Industrial Bearings Limited Designation: - Legal Associate Location- Mumbai Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Associate Lawyer capable of managing a diverse portfolio of legal matters independently. The ideal candidate should be proficient in handling civil and criminal cases, MSME disputes, small-court litigation, and property-related matters, with strong advocacy, research, and drafting skills. Key Responsibilities: Independently manage civil, criminal, MSME, small-court, and property-related matters from initiation to conclusion. Draft legal documents including pleadings, contracts, petitions, applications, notices, and agreements. Conduct thorough legal research, prepare case notes, and analyze statutes, precedents, and relevant legal provisions. Represent clients before various courts, tribunals, authorities, and quasi-judicial bodies. Handle case preparation activities such as collecting evidence, interviewing clients, reviewing documents, and preparing briefs. Attend court hearings, client meetings, arbitration proceedings, and negotiations as required. Maintain and update case files, organize documentation, and ensure accurate record-keeping. Provide clear legal opinions and guidance on compliance issues and regulatory requirements. Coordinate with clients, government departments, law enforcement agencies, and regulatory authorities. Stay informed on amendments, policy changes, and developments in relevant areas of law. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B) from a recognized university. Enrollment with the Bar Council and possession of a valid license to practice. 1–2 years of experience in litigation or general legal practice. Strong research, drafting, and analytical capabilities. Excellent communication and advocacy skills. Ability to manage matters independently while contributing effectively within a team. High attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, and effective time management. Proficiency in MS Office and legal research platforms. Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in civil and criminal litigation, property matters, MSME disputes, and small-court practice. Working knowledge of local and national legal frameworks. Familiarity with case management systems and legal workflow processes.
