The role of Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) - Selenium and Node.js based in Bangalore involves designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts using Selenium and Node.js to ensure the quality of software applications. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, along with a minimum of 3 years of experience in software testing using Selenium and Node.js. Strong programming skills in JavaScript and Node.js, along with experience in Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, and CI/CD pipelines, are essential requirements. While not mandatory, experience with cloud-based testing platforms, containerization, and CI/CD tools would be considered advantageous. Additionally, familiarity with testing frameworks, DevOps practices, and container orchestration is a plus.
