Node JS Developer

Position:

Overview

Node.js

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain backend applications using

  Node.js

  and

  Express.js

  .
• Build and optimize

  RESTful APIs

  and microservices.
• Work extensively with

  Prisma ORM

  for database schema design, migrations, and queries.
• Ensure application performance, scalability, and security.
  
• Integrate external APIs and third-party services.
  
• Collaborate closely with front-end developers, QA, DevOps, and product teams.
  
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.
  
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best development practices.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum

  3+ years of experience

  in backend development using

  Node.js

  .
• Strong proficiency in

  Express.js

  .
• Hands-on experience with

  Prisma ORM

  .
• Solid understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL / MySQL / SQL Server).
  
• Experience with authentication and authorization (JWT, OAuth, etc.).
  
• Strong understanding of REST API design principles.
  
• Good knowledge of Git and version control.
  
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  
• Knowledge of Docker and containerization.
  
• Familiarity with microservices architecture.
  
• Experience working with GraphQL.
  
• Understanding of caching technologies (Redis, Memcached).
  
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines.
  

Education

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred but not mandatory).
