Job Description

Job Title: Senior Node.js Developer We are looking to hire a highly skilled Senior Node.js Developer with a comprehensive understanding of Microservices and Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) architectures. The ideal candidate will independently drive design decisions to ensure the robustness and performance of the solution. Experience 3+ years of experience in developing and managing backend projects using Node.js. Expertise Strong proficiency in Node.js and extensive experience in building RESTful APIs using Express.js. In-depth experience with MongoDB and Mongoose for database modeling and interaction. Expertise in authentication for Shared Drive using Active Directory (AD), including LDAP integration. Proficiency in processing Excel files (XLS/XLSX) using libraries like xlsx, exceljs, or similar. Hands-on experience deploying and managing applications on Red Hat OpenShift. Skills Strong understanding of JavaScript, modern ECMA Script standards, and asynchronous programming patterns. Expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and secure backend solutions. Familiarity with file operations, including parsing and processing large datasets from Excel files. Proficiency in calling and consuming APIs with OAuth authentication for secure communication. Experience in optimizing API performance and ensuring high availability. Proficiency with containerization tools like Docker and deploying to container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes or OpenShift. Additional Knowledge: Experience with consuming APIs from external systems, such as SAP OData services. Strong understanding of Microservices architecture and implementing Backendfor-Frontend (BFF) solutions. Solid grasp of DevOps practices and setting up CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment. Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Mocha, Chai, or Jest. Experience with monitoring and logging tools to ensure application performance and issue resolution. Best Practices: Adheres to industry standards for coding, documentation, and security. Follows best practices for application scalability and fault tolerance.
