Graphic Design Intern (6-Month Internship) Stipend: ₹3,000–₹7,000 per month (based on skills & portfolio) Location: [On-site/Remote/Hybrid] • Start: Immediately About the Role We’re looking for a design-obsessed intern who lives in Canva, isn’t afraid to use AI design tools, and can turn client/product research into scroll-stopping social creatives. Across six months, you’ll create posts, carousels, banners, ad creatives, and simple reels/stories that are on-brand, on-trend, and on time. What You’ll Do ● Concept → Creative: Convert briefs into clear concepts and polished designs; provide variations when needed. ● Research-led Designing: Study each client’s brand, audience, competitors, and products to inform visual direction and copy hooks. ● Canva First: Build and manage reusable templates, brand kits, and asset libraries in Canva. ● AI for Speed & Quality: Use AI tools (e.g., Midjourney/Firefly/DALL·E, Photoshop Generative Fill, Runway/CapCut AI, ChatGPT for copy drafts) for ideation, image generation, cleanup, background removal, upscaling, and layout suggestions. ● Social-Native Output: Design for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube Shorts/Reels—correct aspect ratios, safe zones, and platform best practices. ● Light Video/Animation: Create simple reels/story edits, GIFs, and motion text when required. ● Quality Control: Proofread, color-check, export in correct formats, and maintain tidy file names/folders. ● Collaborate & Iterate: Work with content/social teams; adapt creatives based on feedback and basic performance insights. Must-Have Skills ● Canva expertise (templates, brand kits, advanced layout). ● AI design literacy (prompting, image enhancement, background removal, upscaling). ● Creative problem-solving with a strong eye for typography, color, spacing, and hierarchy. ● Research ability to understand a client and product before designing. ● Social media fluency (trends, hooks, CTAs, hashtags, formats, and platform nuances). ● A portfolio (PDF/Drive/Behance/Instagram highlights) showcasing original design work. Good to Have ● Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator or Figma basics. ● Basic video editing (CapCut, Premiere Pro) and simple motion graphics. ● Photography or product styling fundamentals. ● Comfort with content calendars and light copywriting.
