Job Summary The Mechanical & Electronics Engineer is responsible for the design, installation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems integrated with electronic and control components. The role ensures smooth operation of machinery, automation systems, and equipment while maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency standards. Key Responsibilities Mechanical Responsibilities Design, install, and maintain mechanical systems, machines, and tools Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of mechanical equipment Analyze mechanical failures and implement corrective actions Read and interpret mechanical drawings, layouts, and specifications Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards Coordinate with production teams to improve machine efficiency Electronics / Electrical Responsibilities Install, test, and maintain electronic and electrical systems Troubleshoot PLCs, sensors, drives, motors, control panels, and wiring Handle automation, instrumentation, and control systems Calibrate electronic instruments and control devices Monitor power consumption and suggest energy-saving measures Ensure electrical safety and statutory compliance General Responsibilities Maintain maintenance logs and technical documentation Support new machine installation and commissioning Coordinate with vendors and service providers Participate in continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives Train technicians and operators when required Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and electronics Basic to advanced knowledge of PLC, VFD, sensors, and automation Ability to read technical drawings and wiring diagrams Problem-solving and analytical skills Good communication and teamwork skills Familiarity with safety standards and industrial practices Work Environment Factory / Plant / Workshop / Site-based May require shift duties and emergency breakdown support Role & responsibilities Preferred candidate profile
