We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development Manager (Female only) to drive revenue growth by identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities within the pharmaceutical sector. The ideal candidate will leverage a strong understanding of the pharma industry dynamics and a proven track record in sales to build strategic partnerships and expand our market presence.Key Responsibilities Identify and Pursue Opportunities: Conduct market research to identify trends, potential new customers, and growth opportunities within the pharmaceutical market. Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets and organizational goals. Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and distribution partners (if applicable). Negotiation & Deal Closure: Lead negotiations for contracts and partnerships, working through differences to a positive conclusion and closing deals effectively. Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and technical staff, to ensure client needs are met and new products are developed in line with market demand. Reporting & Forecasting: Utilize CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) to manage the sales pipeline, update client data, prepare business proposals, and provide regular reports and sales forecasts to senior management. Industry Engagement: Attend industry events, conferences, and exhibitions to network, promote the company brand, and gather competitive intelligence. Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor activities, pricing strategies, and new product launches, providing input to the leadership team to refine company strategy. Qualifications & Skills Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience in business development or sales within the pharmaceutical, life sciences, or related healthcare industry. Demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets. Technical Skills: Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite. Sound knowledge of pharmaceutical products (e.g., APIs, excipients, formulations) and industry dynamics. Core Competencies: Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and analytical abilities. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
